I am a writer. I may not be a published author yet but I write and boy do I enjoy it. It's a deep passion of mine.
Will I ever become published?
Honestly, I cannot answer that. I can say I do want to become published. I do end up spending a lot of time writing, editing, rewriting to not have anything come of it but I have fun so that's all that matters.
Currently a 30 y/o, stay at home mom to three very energetic kids, who has the luxury of writing when I can find the time.
It was not always like this though. There were times when I had to deal with my parents about why they received another note with complaints about my lack of interest in school (i.e she's not turning in her hw, not doing in-class assignments because of all the writing, she's not listening because she's writing, she skipped class because she was writing)
I had a minor breakdown a few good years (12) back and during said breakdown, tossed a lot of my writing. Long story and no time for it now, it took me many years to get back to it full time. I would start stories here or there and leave them. 2008 I started writing a lot more but it was about two years ago when I started to really focus full time on it.
